After the previous year of capturing tulips down in Oregon, one of our tulip fields up in Washington gave us permission to photograph their tulip fields at night. Even with a rough year for the tulips, those that made it bloomed beautifully. There is nothing quite like appreciating the tulips amongst the natural noises of the valley. The only light that night was that of minor moonlight and a flickering light out by the street. This shot was done with focus stacking to get every tulip in focus along with the night sky. Many photos were taken and stacked together to create the final image and took quite a few hours to complete.
