Bear Lake has always drawn my eye with Hallett Peak standing tall over the lake, so I knew I the perfect shot to reflect the time passing over the night. This is a 2 hour long star trail, and I was thrilled to see the lake calm down after sundown. Luckily, that allowed me to get the perfect glassy reflection in the water. This star trail began in blue hour which is what gives the sky the nice blue background. Another interesting factor of the night was getting to hear and see the bats flying around the lake.
